How does the home-selling process work?

An important point to specify: we must present you with all the promises to purchase that we receive. The potential buyer can make his promise to purchase conditional on the fulfillment of certain requirements: pre-purchase inspection by a professional (or by a certified building inspector) or the obtaining of a new mortgage loan, among others. Next, we help you evaluate the impact of the conditions issued in each promise to purchase. If you have received an attractive offer to purchase, but wish to make some adjustments, you should know that it is possible to make a counter-proposal to the buyer. You should know that the buyer can in turn use a counter-proposal form in response to yours. The result of a counter-proposal is that all counter-proposals made by either the buyer or the seller are nullified. The agreement that formalizes the promise to purchase is the one that was amended during the last counterproposal. The previous counter-proposals are then annulled.

Finally, the very last step is on the horizon. This is the formalization of the transaction by the signing of the deed of sale at the notary’s office.
